This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working. The installation process is same as installing any other WordPress plugins.

Once the plugin is activated, go to MS Web Arts -> Breview from the admin menu. You can control all the settings of the plugin from this page.

If you are using the Breview Pro version, you will need to activate the plugin by adding a license for it to work. Follow the documentation file named “Activating License Key”.

Pro Tip: If you see any PHP warning in your site’s front-end, just go to MS Web Arts -> Breview and click on the Save Settings button.

  4. Upload the downloaded plugin’s uncompressed folder ( if using FTP ) or zip file ( if Hosting cPanel ). You must extract the file from hosting cPanel if you upload zip file
  5. Then go to WordPress admin dashboard -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins -> Then activate Breview

If you are using the Breview Pro version, you will need to activate the plugin by adding a license for it to work. Follow the documentation file named “Activating License Key”.

Method 3 ( Free version only ):

If you are using the free version of Breview, this method applies to you.

  1. Go to your WordPress admin dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New
  2. Search for “Breview”
  3. Click on the Install button and then click on the Activate button after installation is done.

Hope the installation process was as smooth as the plugin works!

Free to Pro Upgrade

You can update the Free version very easily with the Pro version.

For WordPress 5.5 or Above:

If you were a Breview free version user and now want to move to the Pro version, you can simply follow Method 1 and Method 2 for upgrading the plugin. If you are using WordPress 5.5 or above, you can directly upload the Pro version on the website from Plugins -> Add New and you will be prompted to replace your free version with the Pro version.

For lower than WordPress 5.5

If you are using lower than WordPress 5.5, you are recommended to upgrade to the WordPress version. Also, compatibility is not guaranteed if you are using less than WordPress 5.5. Anyway, you can upgrade by following the below steps.

  1. You will need to deactivate and delete the free version. You must do it first
  2. Then follow Method 1 or Method 2 of the installation section.
  3. You must need to activate the license for the plugin to work. So, follow the “Adding License” documentation file.

No, you won’t lose any reviews. The reviews will be displayed fine when you move to Breview Pro as well.

The settings that you used on the Free version will be retained and used on the Pro version as well. But it’s recommended to go through the settings of the Pro version to see different features that are unlocked and configure it as you need.
